There's nothing like setting up outside at a flea market on a nice summer day. When the weather is iffy, or worse than iffy, I'm thankful for our inside location. Yesterday was just such a day. It was a mix of overcast skies, torrential rains, sunshine, more rain.... Many outside dealers packed it in early, and I can't say that I blame them. I hope that it was a successful day for those who stayed.
Chatting with our customers is always fun. It was nice to see Jill and meet blog readers Mara & Kate...(thanks for stopping by!) We grabbed a few moments to roam the grounds and had a chance to say hello to Candy from Altered Ever After. Her creativity amazes me and her display was the best even though my photo doesn't do it justice.
Super-shopper Jeanine from ChiPPy!-SHaBBy! stopped in and alerted us to the fact that Mariann and her trailer were set up outside. How do you spell jealous? I spell it P-I-N-K!It was so sweet of her to invite me in for a peek at the end of a long day...thanks Mariann! (No she's not sleeping. but probably wished she could be.)
Check out the great barkcloth that she found for curtains & cushions.
