White Wednesday

It's a beautiful morning.
Sunny, clear blue skies...
and one degree.
O-n-e.
Occasionally nature presents us
with a peace offering when we have to cope with extreme temps.
It's called hoarfrost - 'glitter' on every surface.
It's fleeting; once the sun is up it doesn't last long.
I'm always reminded to stop and enjoy the 'moment',
before it's gone.
May you  have many moments to treasure this week!

I'm linking up with Faded Charm for White Wednesday.
You'll be captivated by all of the participants...enjoy!

  2. O N E degree...yikes! I often wish we had snow here in California, but then I chicken out when our weather turns to the 40's and complain how cold it is. I like the sentiment of your photos!

Stopping by from WW, and merry Christmas to you!

  3. What a crummy word for such a lovely little peace offering....and you don't have to sweep it up.
Good gravy...and I was complaining about 27 degrees!

  6. ONE degree?!?! Do you know what that kind of temperature or lack thereof would do to my whiskers??!! Me neither. Nor do I want to know. They'd probably be like icicles and just freeze and fall off. Brrrrrr.......where's my blankie?! Heck, where's YOUR blankie? Quick, grab it and hibernate - I'll stop by as often as possible and bring you mousies for dinner, okay?

    Purrs!
