Shopping Marshall, Michigan

Written earlier this week - I was unable to post from
Blog Press and am currently fighting with the new
Blogger dashboard - yikes!
This week I'm spending a few days in Michigan,
enjoying my 3 year old granddaughter while
the rest of her family is at school & work.
It was
a long drive over here on Sunday.
I decided that a little 'rest stop' was in
order.  I chose to stop in Marshall;
I'd been there once before and especially
loved two of the shops;
Amazing Grace Antiques and Grannies Attic.
I found some great things in both shops,
(pictures another day!),
but by the time I got to Grannie's Attic,
it was nearly closing time.
I decided to spend the time shopping and
didn't get any photos there.
Please check out their
Facebook page
The following photos are all from Amazing Grace

  1. Morning Jan....!

    Amazing Grace looks AWESOME....That rack of prom dresses was GORGEOUS & the tornado sign is a crack up.... I nearly spilt my coffee chuckling....!!

    Tamarah :o)

  2. Rock Star Hair-I need that. Blogger is a challenge for us all right now I fear. Enjoy that sweet child. xoxo, olive

  3. I cannot find Grannies Attic on Facebook....your link doesn't work for me.
    I am considering a road trip to Marshall since I live in Michigan.
    Thanks for the tips!

  4. My sister lives in Marshall and I think it is the closest thing to Mayberry RFD today! The shops are wonderful, the two that you mentioned are two of her favs and mine when i visit. There is another on the other side of the street from Amazing Grace, with old doors and lots of vintage hardware that I love. I want to say it's called Keystone Antiques, but I'm not sure.
    Your post makes me want to go over for a shopping visit with my sis.
