One Of A Kind Tote

Since getting my iPad, I've found that I have to have it with me everywhere I go.
It needed a fun travel bag.

This fills the need.
Here's the other side...
I've found that it's sturdy enough to provide extra storage when it's not out and about with me.
Would you like to see the "before" shot?  Here it is:
A portrait...a little damaged and not terribly well done.  Purchased for less than the price of a cuppa joe.

Your kind comments on the grain sack totes have inspired me to get busy.  I'll have some available at the Kane County Flea Market next weekend...I want to 'test market' them live, before offering them online.  Thank you all for your inspiration to keep sewing!

I'm linking up with Debra at Common Ground for Vintage Inspiration Friday and At the Picket Fence for Inspiration Friday

  1. Jan how clever your tote is great.Run with it with the feed sacks I'm sure you will have no trouble selling them.

  2. That is gorgeous! I love it. Can't wait to see more!

  3. It's the prettiest computer tote EVER! So much nicer than the ugly black things they think we want to carry. Love your grain sack totes too!
    Happy Easter!

  4. Great idea for your iPad
    Thanks for sharing

  5. Love it. So much more charming than the original painting. I am sure you will have no problems selling your totes,

    Happy Easter, Tam x

  6. What a great idea! Good Luck at Kane County!

    Happy Easter!

  7. Super job on the tote! I have been busy this past week, cleaning out my office- and I sewed up all kinds of totes from random fabric scraps. So now I have totes galore AND a clean fabric cupboard. There IS a method to our madness, huh? AND I got a sewing machine tune up in the process...much needed, I'd say. See ya at Kane!

  8. I love this idea! So cute! I am hoping to get by Kane County ~ not sure that it is happening for me this month but I will look for you when I go!

  9. Your tote is really wonderful! Applying that image truly does make it one of a kind. Just visited your fab etsy store. so many great things. Thanks so much for linking up with VIF!
